1924 CVRy Central Vermont Railroad Lantern Hi Top Dietz Vesta Signal Green Globe

Offered is an Antique Collectible C. Central Vermont Railroad Lantern Dietz Vesta "Hi Top" Cold Blast RR lantern. Stamped for manufactured in Syracuse, New York in August, 1924 on lid S-8-24. Signal Green globe is embossed with a P only near the top and does not show a manufacture logo. It shows some dust in photos but is clean, no cracks or chips, good edges. Everything operates, rotates, and overall it is in very good condition for age showing natural metal finishes, lots of original tin, stands straight and solid. Slight pitting to lower wire guard only near connecting point.
