Offered is an Antique Pullman Style Railroad Car Light Fixture double light wall sconce. Circa 1913 era of Lighting. Casting numbers are: X37070 & 3709 where the wires are - on backside of the mounting base.
One bulb socket I was able to light up, the other side needs work... A small brass socket screw is out and disconnected inside the socket area where wires are. In some of the photos the brass fixture looks a little wet because it is, I took a toothbrush and windex to clean it a little and didn't fully dry it. The glass shades are excellent no cracks.
This fixture does come apart, shade holders thread down to grab the shades, set screws and all screws are there, and it needs to be re-wired anyways. It is not easy to take apart, someone who knows what they are doing is needed. I will pack the shades separately from fixture, boxed within the box.It has very old dark patina on the brass and is an excellent looking light for any rail car restoration project! Please examine photos to determine the condition for yourself as they are part of the description.
