Antique/vintage Dietz Acme Inspector Lamp Railroad Beautiful

Beautiful, Fully-Functional, Lovingly Reconditioned and Restored Dietz ACME Inspector Lamp. As a Utility Lantern, the concentrated, focused light produced was used much in the same fashion as today's better flashlights. As an "Inspector Lamp" these lanterns were used to check the rails and look beneath the Railroad Cars for debris, damage and/or people. Taken down to bare metal, the guard wires and filler spout were taped off and the lantern was sprayed with a primer undercoat and finished with two coats of Machine Gray paint. The Globe Plate, Burner and Cone are near perfect.

The entire Lantern is ready for use or display in your collection! No Dents, Dings, Rust, Rot or Holes! All parts present and in working condition. Clear Dietz Fitzall Globe, no cracks or chips, very few flea bites.
