Fabulous German Vintage Solid Copper Railway Lantern Display Prop Ref T13/20

This is a fabulous vintage copper lantern recently brought back from France, I've been informed it could be a German railway lamp, either a signal or level crossing lamp. The letters on one side, DB, standing for Deutsche Bundesbahn. One side has a red pane of glass and the other has a clear pane.

The side door opens easily and the top lid comes off too. This is a very large and very heavy lantern, solid copper, looks amazing and will certainly take centre stage. There is no bulb or fittings in this lantern, if wanting to use as a working lamp it will need to be refurbished. Approx: handle height 53cm, width 19cm, depth 19cm.
