FRISCO HANDLAN BUCK BELL BOTTOM RAILROAD LANTERN MATCHING CAST MEG CO GLOBE. This is a Handlan Buck lantern embossed in nice, big letters on the bell, FRISCO for the St. Louis & San Francisco Railway. The frame has a very good patina with nice metal and no noticeable pitting. There are no holes, dents, or damage and it is totally correct from top to bottom with the original Buck retainer for this era, the proper bail, and the original twist off bell with the H-Buck patent dates embossed along the top, burner included.

Best part of the set is the matching clear cast globe, embossed, "FRISCO". This version is a variation and harder to come by compared to its Corning counterpart embossed in a panel.

This one has no slug plate and was made by MEGCo, or MacBeth Evans Glass Company, as embossed along the reverse of the globe. There are NO cracks, only a couple minor rim chips that are all no shows once placed inside the frame. Great set ready to display on the shelf and enjoy for the Frisco collector or Midwestern lantern enthusiast! PICK-UP is always welcome for anyone who wants to come by in person to receive the item.
