Rare Adlake Kero Clinchfield Railroad Lantern

Rare Adlake Kero Clinchfield Railroad Lantern. The Clinchfield Railroad Lantern is a rare collectible of the Virginia railway system. The Clinchfield ran through the mountains of KY, VA, TN, and SC. It was later to be merged into The Family Lines System and the into CSX.

The globe is clear and the lantern has no holes in the metal. The bail and wiring is firmly intact with no loose parts. The lantern is marked CRR on the top and on the globe. The globe also says Adlake Kero. Around the bottom of the globe it says made in USA.

The clear globe has a few chips around the rim from where it was opened and closed but no large chips. I tried to show them in the photos. The lantern is 19 high and 6 3/8 at the bottom. With bail included it measures 15 1/2 tall. Wonderful piece of Clinchfield railroad history.
