This listing is for a uncommon Adams & Westlake onion top railroad style lantern. As shown this is marked on the bottom - Adams & Westlake Mfg.

26 - 64 Chicago Ill. The globe is unmarked and measures 4 7/8" tall, the base has a 2 9/16" o.

Diameter and the top has a 2 3/16 o. As shown this is all good with the only apology being the lock tab has broken off the wire. We found the tab inside the lantern. This should be an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing. We considered polishing this brass lantern, but decided to leave it as found.

Once this nice original patina is gone there would be no way to bring it back. If you are a purist you understand what we are saying and if you prefer it polished you have that option. Check out my other items. Be sure to add me to your favorites list.
