Texas & Pacific Handlan Buck Tall Blue Globe Railroad Lantern

TEXAS & PACIFIC HANDLAN BUCK TALL BLUE GLOBE RAILROAD LANTERN. This is a Handlan Buck lantern embossed in nice, big letters on the lid, "T&PRy" for the Texas & Pacific Railway. The frame is in very nice condition with a smooth, dark brown patina. There is a fatigue stress in the lid through the "Y" but not major, and for some reason tends to show up on Buck lids now and then.

No holes, dents, or damage, the frame appears to have an Adams & Westlake globe retainer assembly, but is complete and original otherwise with the correct bail, and the harder to find, original Buck pot, hallmarked on the bottom. There are two, tiny pinholes on the side of the font for some strange reason, but the bottom is mint and no issues. There is actually some tin in the waist area as photographed, and the set features a very nice, unmarked blue extended base globe in great shape. No cracks and no large chips. Excellent set for the Texas & Pacific enthusiast ready to hang up and enjoy on the shelf!
