1880'S ADAMS WESTLAKE FANCY BRASS KEROSENE OIL WALL MOUNT RAILROAD LAMP. 1880s Adams Westlake fancy brass kerosene oil wall mount railroad lamp. Embossed signed on the top of the brass font'THE ADAMS & WESTLAKE COMPANY CHICAGO', the burner signed Plume & Atwood on the thumbwheel; the burner accepts a 2 1/2 slip fitter chimney that will accompany the lamp. The heavy fancy cast brass backplate and font ring appear to be red brass, the font and burner appear to be yellow brass. The backplate is 5" by 5 1/2", the lamp extends approximately 7" from the wall; the height is approximately 7".
