1910 PS&N Pittsburgh Shawmut & Northern Railroad Lantern VULCAN CC ext. Globe

Offered up is an Antique Collectible PS&N Ry Pittsburgh Shawmut & Northern Railway Lantern made by the R. "Vulcan Frame" - made in New York, USA. The frame stands 10" tall to dome and has a bottom wire guard diameter of 7" - Excellent frame, no repairs, showing natural aged metal finish. Twist-off bottom fount is stamped: PAT'D DEC 13 - 10. & PAT'D MAY 31. Dietz wing lock burner stamped: PAT JULY 26-04 & works good with wick. The clear cast extended base globe is 5-7/16" tall; having a bold strike on RR letters & a small 1-3/8" long crack from bottom edge up - located at left side near mold seam and when installed in frame with letters facing front, the crack is behind the left vertical wire guard where bail handle is attached. It is hard to notice.
