Offered is an Antique Collectible WMRy Western Maryland Railroad Lantern. It has the proper A&W fuel pot with a nickel plated burner stamped: ADLAKE Pat APRIL 27, 1909. Has a "authentic" clear acid etched KOPP extended base globe.
No cracks & good edges. It shows straw marks & casting swirls (that look like cracks, but they are not) & air bubbles throughout, with some slight "yellow" tinting of discoloration at certain angles or in certain lighting to be specific on the globe. These globes were typically used in the R. Signal / Armspear & Star Headlight frames for this Railroad, so it may not be correct for this frame but offered "as is" as found.
No paint on frame showing natural metal finishes. It has been cleaned, oiled & serviced and is display ready for any RR collection.
Shows moderate wear, some pitting from age & use. Please use the photos as your guide and zoom to determine the condition for yourself.
