What is this girl on? Well my friend, congratulations for being today years old when you learned that green signal lanterns had turquoise colored glass on them!

The combination of the blue-hued glass and the yellow flame of the lantern would produce. This lantern was made by Hiram Piper for the Canadian Pacific Railway, and was meant to be held in the hand as a signalling device.

In this case, a green light meant a few things from indicating that the switches were aligned properly, to "Proceed with caution". There are a few other meanings as well, but I'll leave those for the railway experts out there. Measures 14.25" tall by 8" by 6 with the handle up.
