Up for grabs is this quite rare Adams & Westlake 1895 patent date lantern made for The Belt Railway of Chicago. The red cast globe is also spelled out The Belt Ry of Chicago.
The globe itself has a couple scratches on the backside under the Corning mark, and 1 chip in the base that is NOT visible when inside the frame. The fount is in excellent shape with a nice brass tip burner complete with wick. The bellbottom sits almost completely flat with just a very slight wobble if you rock it.
This is a very nice piece and one that's hard to find. Please ask any questions you may have.
