This is an old railroad lantern , app. 10 1/4 inches tall (plus swinging handle) and 6 inches in diameter at base. Marked on top The Adams & Westlake Co. Adlake Reliable New York Chicago Phila. RY with patent dates from 1897 to 1912.

Clear globe is embossed "CCC&StLRY". Knob on burner is marked Dressel Pat.

Good condition - roughness/minor chips to top & bottom of globe; lantern body shows wear/minor rust; burner adjustment knob works, no wick; see all 12 pics. Items can be picked up in person at our office.
