22 RAILWAY / RAIL ROAD LAMP L. S CIRCA 1900 HEAVY DUTY STEEL BODY (5.75 KG). 22 LAMP HAS A HEAVY GAUGE STEEL BODY AND LID WITH A COPPER CHIMNEY COVER, MARKED L. (LONDON MIDLAND AND SCOTLAND RAILWAY). THERE IS A BRASS LABEL TO THE BODY AND A COPPER LABEL ON THE LID.
WITH A CLEAR 5" (12.5 cm) LENS TO THE FRONT AND 1 1/2" (3.5 cm) LENS ON THE BACK. IT HAS AN INTERNAL FLAT GLASS PROTECTIVE PLATE, WHICH IS CRACKED (SEE PHOTOS), BEHIND THE FRONT LENS. THERE IS AN E27 EDISON BULB LARGE SCREW BULB HOLDER, 2.5 M CABLE, 3 PIN PLUG (UK) AND INLINE SWITCH.
THE CABLE HAS BEEN INSERTED THROUGH A VENT HOLE. THE BULB HOLDER HAS BEEN ATTACHED TO A PIECE OF WOOD, WHICH IS LOOSE WITHIN THE BODY OF THE LAMP AND CAN BE EASILY REMOVED IF NOT REQUIRED.
