Antique 1929 Chicago Rock Island Pacific Railroad 51 Train Locomotive Clock

Antique folk art Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific train clock in glass display case. This is truly a one-off piece and belongs in a train museum! No other history available, other than the plaque name on the rail "Ike Brooks", which we believe is the artist. Date on the front of the train is undoubtedly the date of creation.

All hand made, hand painted and tooled brass/copper pieces, with tiny nails, screws and bolts/nuts. Train is about 42 long actual. Case is about 51 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 18 1/4 tall. We replaced the glass panel on one end, made a few repairs and added some nails overall, re-lacquered the top and added (8) brass screws on the top for easier removal and access. No obvious damage to train itself.

Top and case have small areas of damage/normal wear. We will be happy to travel up to four hours in any direction from 54001 to meet in person.
