One of the blue lenses has a small scuff mark on it (last photo) and is stlightly rotated within its cover but should be fixable if desire. The lens clamps are still on with their nuts and complete. The lid opens fine on its hinge; albeit it might need some cleaning and slight adjusting to fit onto the base abit better, which is a minor issue. The door with the amber lamp lifts fine to expose the internal kerosene lamp. The burner and lamp are in tact including the small metal chimney glass.
The only thing I note is that the kerosene tank threaded plug is missing. On the door is stamped with the NYCS letters. Overall this a very cool piece of railroad memorabilia and would make a nice addition to anyones collection. Could just use a bit more cleaning to get it to display even better. The lantern stands approximatley 16 inches tall to cap (not including handle) and is approximately 9 inches from lens to lens.
