Authentic antique kerosene (oil) lantern dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. Heavy steel construction with wire bail handle, vented "mushroom" top, and cross-wire globe cage. This is a wick-style lantern, not a pressure lantern and not a modern reproduction. Heavy-gauge steel body with original aged patina. Wire bail handle and hanging hook.
