On the rim of the lid is embossed Union Pacific and along the edge are several patent dates the last is 1915. Frame is solid with wires tight. Pot is easily removed and has burner complete with wick. Globe measure 5 3/8 high, approximately 4 1/2 diameter and is clear with the Union Pacific The Overland Route Shield embossed in the center. Globe is a Corning and marked with the CNX. Logo marking on the globe is strong. If you collect Union Pacific railroad items then this lantern would make an excellent addition to your personal collection.
