For sale is an Antique Dietz Acme Inspector Lamp manufactured by R. Dietz Company, Syracuse, NY, NY USA. This railroad inspectors lamp is used and is a great Tennessee barn find suitable for refurbishment. It has not been disassembled or cleaned and includes an inactive wasp nest (no charge)!
The lantern is essentially complete, but unfortunately the globe, though intact, is cracked and has a 1/2" x 1" hole in the rear. Tank fill cap is missing. Please review pictures for condition.
The overall measurements are 7 3/4 inches deep, front to back. Across the front at the widest point, 14" inches high, and 19 1/2" inches high when the handle is up.
The lantern has the burner, but no wick and has not been tested to see if it works. Considering this lantern was well used and is nearly 100 years old, it is in great condition. The patina is black with barn dirt. This would look great on the wall of any cabin, home or any rustic place you would like it. I fully disclose flaws and photograph them when possible.I try to give a complete and honest description and provide pictures for your review. Your suggestions and feedback are important! I want you to be happy with every aspect of your experience and will strive to resolve any issues. SELLERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. Proper feedback will be left.
