Armspear Hemispherical Bridge Railroad Lamp Lantern 1912

Very rare Armspear Hemispherical Bridge or Railroad Lamp Lantern. The only patent date I can make out looks like 1912. Two red curved fresnel lenses on the front and the back is blacked out. Both red lenses are in perfect condition. This was originally electric hense the reason for no vent holes in the top, it no longer has the electrical socket.

It was painted black at sometime before I aquired it. Overall condition is very good, no major dents and just some surface rust underneath as seen in the pictures. This is a large and relatively heavy lamp.
