An original British Railways (LNER pattern) steam locomotive headlamp. In excellent, ex-service condition a little dirty! Complete with its shrouded inner lamp/vessel with the correct burner, incorporating a locking nut to prevent movement of the wick.

The red flip-over lens is in good order and operates well. All glasses are present and undamaged. When I acquired the lamp there was still paraffin in the vessel. I have removed this, but the wick is still wet and can be seen lit in the photograph.
