Offered is an Antique Collectible A. Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Lantern made by the Adams & Westlake Co.Stands 10-1/4" tall to top of dome & has 6" diameter base. Bell Bottom nicely stamped for the A. The Corning cast globe has a nice bold strike and no cracks & marked for Santa Fe. Has casting marks, some scuffs, and typical edge wear from age and use. The Fuel pot is stamped: USE KEROSENE OIL ONLY - brass 1/2 thread in burner unmarked - has wick and works well fits well with burner shaft below the globe seat. Everything turns, rotates, operates as it should. These frames were typically marked By The Adams & Westlake Co. Via the top stamped fuel pots.
