General Railway Signal Type FA Dwarf

General Railway Signal Type FA Dwarf. 1930's-40's Railroad Steam Locomotive era.

Stands 25 1/4" by 8 1/4" width by 15 1/2 depth, Weighs about 85 lbs. Was repainted at one time. The visor is heavy plastic.

Screws for spectacle and visor are not original. Outer lens 6 3/8 clear Kopp glass excellent condition. Inner lens 5 3/8 green plastic good with minor scuffs.

Has cracks and welds, still functional. The top cover plate is cast iron/steel. Bottom unit is cast iron/steel all original.

Outer lens 6 3/8 red Kopp glass excellent condition. No inner lens as the light gets reflected with mirror (see pics). There is a crack around the door handle swivel which makes it difficult to open and close if it's not lined up but still functional (easy fix if you're a welder) Base is solid no cracks cast iron/steel 9 1/2" x 9 1/2". Comes with original 10v 18w bayonet style bulbs (working) and an extra steel visor in excellent condition 9" x 6 1/4".
