Gloden glow Vintage Railroad light Made in the USA 14 glass globe

Vintage Golden Glow Railroad Locomotive spot light. Uranium globe glows very bright. I used a 365/395 dial light for the photos. 14" exposed globe and a 17 1/2" bezel. Front to back is almost 6.

Historical information- An industrial safety application of uranium glass: In the 1930's and early 1940's, uranium enhanced glass headlight reflectors were used on many steam locomotives and electric streetcars (trolleys) in order to improve visibility and prevent collisions with people and other objects. The large light has a 14 inch diameter reflector and trade marked "Golden Glow" also American made.
