GWR Ornate Cast Iron Railway Station Waiting Room Table Oil Lamp - KB. A hard to come by GWR waiting room cast iron lamp base, a very heavy base weighing over 4kg. The bridge of the burner is split so it may be worth repairing or replacing. Marked to base GWR, marked to inside of the bowl KB. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: The base is in a good condition, some surface corrosion to the underside of the base and the nut is quite corroded. The font has a few small dents and marks, the burner has a split to the bridge but the wick winder and extinguisher work well. Size: Base 29.5cm high (11 5/8"), Top diameter external 14.5cm 5 3/4", internal 13.8cm 5 3/8. Base diameter 18cm, Total weight 4.6kg.
