Handlan Railroad Kerosene Lamp St Louis Mo Metal Cast Iron Base. This Handlan metal lamp has a cast iron base that is embossed Handlan St. Handlan made lamps for the railroad and I assume this lamp is railroad related. The upper portion is also metal. The cap for the lamp is a replacement, material to weight the lamp has been added to the interior of the base, and it looks like some repair work has been done by the cap (see photo with pencil).
