Kansas City Southern Bell Bottom Railroad Lantern Scarce Cast Ext Base Globe

KANSAS CITY SOUTHERN BELL BOTTOM RAILROAD LANTERN SCARCE CAST EXT BASE GLOBE. Very nice, Adams & Westlake Reliable version bell bottom railroad lantern marked nicely on the lid, "KCSRy" for the Kansas City Southern Railway. Frame has a beautiful patina on the lid with smooth metal in the waist section. Bail ears appear to have been repaired long ago, but are complete and function. There are no holes, dents, or damage and the frame is straight.

Original lid latch, globe retainer assembly, bail, and tall globe font, burner and wick included. Best part of the set is the hard to come by, "KCSRy" clear cast EXTENDED BASE globe. These are very tough to get as most are Corning versions. Great shape with only a couple no show in the frame rim flakes, but otherwise just a beauty.
