NYCS Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern

One beautiful NYCS (New York Central System) Dietz Vesta lantern. The clear glass Dietz globe is marked NYCS as shown in the photos. The globe does have some minor chips on the bottom as shown in the photos. Burner operates wick up and down.

There is a repair on the pot as shown in the last photo. The pot does hold fuel which is why the first picture shows the lantern lit. That picture was taken first.

Fuel has been removed from the pot and wick replaced. This lantern produced three times the light of other models due to the pre heating of the air by way of the tubes from the top of the lantern down to the burner.
