This lantern stands about 9.5 tall without the handle and with the handle it is about 14.25 tall. Not sure the handle material. The handle appears to be in really nice condition. It has some minor flaws as shown but very solid and in tact regardless.
Lantern is about 6 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. This lantern has been restored by the previous owner. It has been painted Grey. You can see pitting throughout that has been painted over.
No major damage on this piece. The wire housing seems to be in nice shape with only one spot that looks a little tweaked as shown.
Doesnt effect anything, but there to mention. The inner top has a nice spring to it to secure to the globe and hold in place when shut. There is also a latch on the side of the wire housing that functions as should.
The globe is in very nice shape for age. It has some minor flaws like surface scratches, the baby chips pictured, and some discoloration from the paint, but overall, this is a beautiful collectors lens. Embossed with C on one side for CNX and Pere Marquette on the other. Globe lip on top and bottom are as pictured.
The globe is about 5 3/8 tall. The wick feeder works as should. The fuel canister has two small pin point sized holes as shown that will need repaired. All in all, this lantern is in really great shape as is the globe. The bottom of the lantern is embossed with PATD MAY. The bottom base part does have a couple dings, see pics and zoom if need be.
