Railroad Presentation Nickel Silver Lantern 2 Color Globe Red Over Blue CT Hamme

Rare opportunity to own a one of a kind railroad presentation lantern. The 10 high frame is nickel sliver plated; manufactured by CT Hamme Co #39. Frame has some light wear of the plating, a few very minor, tiny dings on the rim of the lid, dome and bell bottom. Burner is marked Beacon and is complete with a wick. Wick adjustor wheel moves wick up and down freely.

Both thumb latch and bell bottom latch are in fine working order. Globe is a two colored red over blue. Globe measures 5 3/8 high.

Top rim has no chipping. Bottom rim has very minor chipping.

The globe does have a bubble in the red section (see last photo). This is the only red over blue, two color globe we have seen-very rare! Possibly from the Erie railroad as the colors, red and blue, are Erie Railroad colors.
