SOUTHERN PACIFIC 1892 A&W RAILROAD LANTERN MATCHING CAST 6 EXT. Beautiful, 1892 Adams & Westlake tall globe lantern embossed in big letters on the lid, "SPCo" for the Southern Pacific Company. Tougher to come across than the 1897 A&W counterpart, the frame is in great, untouched and uncleaned condition with a very smooth, chocolate patina on the lid, and very nice, original shiny tin in the waist area and underneath the lid. Complete and original from top to bottom with the correct bail, globe retainer assembly, leaf lid latch, and the VERY hard to find, original 6 twist off A&W font, burner included. Only thing to note is very minute but the collar that goes over the strap on the font is missing, but the twist off functions completely fine and does not impede the lantern.

Comes with the hard to find, matching clear cast 6" extended base globe nicely embossed, "SPCo. There is some very light roughness along the side of the glass from years of use or exposure to the elements, side but does not affect the lettering and there are NO cracks.
