Star Headlight Lantern Co Rochester NY Railroad Train Signal Switch Marker Lamp. Up for sale is this Star Headlight & Lantern Company 3-Way Railroad Train Signal Switch Marker Lamp. Star Headlight & Lantern Company was founded in 1889 and is still in business to this day in Rochester, New York and its vicinity. The lantern measures 10" wide x 8" deep x 12 1/8" tall at the top of the lid & 16 1/4" tall at the top of the handle when extended up.

It has 3 lenses (1 blue & 2 red) installed on it. The blue lens is a Corning, A, 1935, 5 3/8" D x 3 1/2" F.

The 2 red lenses are kopp glass 5 3/8" L x 3 1/2" F lenses. All hinges and joints are solid and the top closes tight. Rust spots are all superficial.
