Vintage DRESSEL Arlington NJ Red Globe Railroad Lantern Hanging Lighting/Lamp. Beautiful vintage authentic Dressel railroad lantern fashioned into an electric lamp. Made of metal with a gray/silver finish and red glass shade as shown. Professionally electrified years ago and is corded but with no on/off switch, so it. Gets plugged in and unplugged each time one uses it.

It is shown both lit up and. Unlit and shown on a standard-sized nightstand and in a bedroom for perspective. It can be used tabletop or as it has it's original bail-style handle/holder, it can. Also be hung on a hook.

Indication on top is that it originated in Arlington, NJ. Measures 14.5" tall (including handle) and 10" wide at it's widest. Small lever which gets pushed in to release the top/cap for insertion of light. Bulb, shown in photo #9.

It is functionally excellent, works every time you. Cosmetically it does show age and wear as might be expected. This includes scuffs, scrapes and some typical patina. The only real issue found is some oxidation/rust on interior.
