Vintage JULIAN McDERMOTT LED Handle Railroad BLUE LIGHT Lantern used WORKING

Please see all photos and ask any questions you may have. I've titled this item as "working" because when activated the bulb light, but it is very weak. I'm speculating that this is a battery issue? If the weak power of the bulb is indicative of a mechanical problem that would mark this as "not working" please let me know and I will revise.

The base is a pretty powerful magnet.
