Vintage LNER Bull's Eye Railway Signal Lantern / Lamp S40A / HS68 (British Rail) Railwayana. Manufactured with markings: Lamp Manufacturing and Railway Supplies Ltd (Lamp Mfg & Rly Supplies Ltd London). Plus marked LNER to the back.

Cast iron, with brass vent top. Glass bull's eye lens.

Dated around 1921 - 48. Very good example and good condition for age, with some wear, scratches, paint chips, discolouration and tarnishing. The front glass lens and back viewing window are not cracked or chipped, with is unusual. The internal oil / electric lamp fitting has been removed.
