Let's see if you can figure out which one is real and which one is a fantasy lamp. If you have been collecting Wells Fargo & Co Express for any amount of time, you know without a doubt, that was the Name of the Company. Even after they had to close the Express Co, Government orders, it still stayed Wells Fargo & Co into the banking days. Any and all items marked as such are a fantasy fake item. If you look at the pictures, the lamp from James Bartz book, "Company Property" is the real correctly marked lamp.

If you look at the Fantasy lamp, it is marked W. Wording is all wrong and should be a red flag to any collector. I have collected and researched WF for over 40 years.

The back up ammo in my six shooter of Wells Fargo collector friends are, Dennis Kurlander, John Boessenecker, Don Gordon, Fred Hollabird, Al Cali and Robert Chandler. All authors of Wells Fargo & Co Express published books. The last picture of the Body Tag is another great example of a fantasy FAKE. And WF never ever had Body Tags. Made in the 1960s in China!

Same with the ammo case pictured. Also check out my listing on fantasy WF knives and silver bars. "There's a sucker born every minute".
